How to Explore Illegal Actions for Playing the Game of Life in 3 Steps

These are the three steps that begin the adventure for defining illegal actions, improper play, and misconduct in the Playbook. This is facet #6 of the Playbook for playing the game of life. The process of defining this facet proves to be a true journey that is made up of many adventures.  

Review the Objectives for Deeper Understanding of the Ultimate Mission

First, you may remember the objective of the Playbook. Remember that humans naturally take a path to thrive in life and not just survive. Humans are natural breathers as they live life. We discover how to seek greater success and happiness while we constantly breathe.

Later in life breathing becomes second nature and taken for granted. Experiences in life may cause us to hold our breath in stressful situations. These experiences actually build up layers of fear and move us away from seeking life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. 

Maintaining Integrity in Life

Next, you may recall two opposing forces that are at play that we must consider. Maintaining integrity in life requires a greater understanding in the middle of these forces. On one hand, rules keep us safe. Next, on the other hand, all is fair in love and war.

These opposing forces can push us into a dead space of uncharted territory. To maintain integrity in life, we must gain comfort playing inside the dead space. Humans gain immunity playing inside the dead space with a new set of guidelines. Maintain integrity by growing mastery in this space. Growing mastery here is the gold in life.

Discovering a Simple Truth

Moving on through life, we take the three categories and flip them into rules. The categories are attitude, abundance, and motivation. Find more on attitude in episode #25. An explanation of abundance is inside this episode. A lack of abundance produces more scarcity. Then learn to avoid scarcity as much as possible. Direct activities toward motivation through Maslow’s work on his hierarchy.

We use the hierarchy as a common tool for human improvement. Each human drives the direction of their life by a variety of motivations. A simple truth presents itself as it rises to the top as a clear winner. Create a path in life that drives toward this simple truth. The only person you can change is yourself. Using attitude, abundance, and a common human motivator leads to a definition.

Avoiding the steps toward misery and scarcity becomes a guide for defining illegal actions, improper play, and misconduct.
