This episode is full of inspiration as we are Scrooged with the Ghosts of Women’s Leadership Past, Present, and Future.

The Ghosts of Women’s Leadership Past

Ten women from past episodes speak to us and send a message for a brighter 100-years to come.

The 100-year theme seemed to stick out in two ways. The last global pandemic we had was 100 years ago for one. And two, after studying several amazing women leaders as part of this podcast there seemed to be a common thread that was popping out. These women were speaking to me.

There is something special that seems to tie us all together. By looking at a couple of milestones at both the 100-year mark and the fifty-year mark we can learn more. It’s like the data was begging me to dig a little deeper to expose something. Or was it the ghosts of Women’s Leadership Past?

Marie Curie

Marie Curie whispers a message to us on Women’s Leadership. She makes it clear that there is a difference between men’s leadership and women’s leadership. Her story challenges us to reflect on the difference between the two. As I have recently discussed in a previous episode. It makes me question: are we practicing peace or are we practicing conflict in our lives and with our creations?

Mae West

Mae West whispers a message to us on Women’s Leadership. She toys with us in the most loving and playful way to encourage us to flirt at all costs. Anytime, anyplace, with anyone; flirt as if your life depends on it. The ghost of Mae West past asks one of the most challenging questions for our ultimate success and happiness.

Hedy Lamarr

Hedy Lamarr whispers a message to us on Women’s Leadership. She tells us to be creative! Be innovative! Notice things in life with great clarity! These things will make an impression on you. They will make you a unique inventor of your own. You will be able to take an impression from here and match it with an impression from there. Combine it into something new and different and important.

That is what makes you, you! Take those impressions and create something new in the world for everyone to see. That’s how you live an enjoyable life.

One more thing, they are right when they say you can’t take money with you when you die. It’s not about the money, just make sure the men don’t get all of it! If I had the chance to do it all over again, I’d make sure I found financial advice from an empowered woman.

Hidden Figures and Mercury 13

The Hidden Figures and Mercury 13 whisper a message to us on Women’s Leadership. Stick together! You are incredibly powerful and capable to do great things in life. Follow your heart’s desires to do what makes you happy! But also remember, you are more powerful together.

You may not know that there are others out there just like you, but you must believe that this is true. There is a sisterhood. Find each other! You are part of that sisterhood; you always have been, and you always will be. This sisterhood will always support and encourage you to reach for the stars and touch the sky.

Be patient and gracious because the recognition may either never come, or it will come later in life. And there will always be a guy out there that wants to come along and break your record after you. Don’t worry about them! Have fun!

Ruth Bader Ginsberg

RBG whispers a message to us on Women’s Leadership. She tells us that the justice system is meant to be a place where we constantly work toward a more perfect union. Along the journey, you may need to become a loud voice of dissent when the union is out of balance in a particular way.

Be flexible! Also, remember to be a lady and be independent. Never let the public see you react in anger, that would not be ladylike. If you do react in anger, respond to your actions in a way that is comfortable for you, and move on.

And be independent, it’s okay to meet prince charming and live happily ever after but be able to fend for yourself. Find something that you are good at that you can use to work toward more harmony for the entire world.

The Ghost of Women’s Leadership Future

What happens in the future without our participation in Women’s Leadership?

When we continue to let our planet and humanity waffle, what happens to the misunderstanding of the misunderstood?

What happens if we don’t intervene with more curiosity, compassion, and kindness to resolve conflict, gain insight, and build respect?

I find it far more useful to paint a picture of possibilities of prosperity than to get stuck in the mud from the old order of thinking that we are all separate and different.

Imagine in the future, Women’s Leadership is leading the way.

In the next 100-years, I believe the following is absolutely possible!

First, women continue to show up and work to help themselves and others understand how capable we always have been. We let the chips fall where they may and by letting go of conflict and criticism, we naturally obtain the appropriate compensation and rewards for our true capabilities.

In the next 100-years, I won’t be surprised to see 9 women seated on the US Supreme Court. I also won’t be surprised when the vast majority of women empower themselves through greater financial independence and wealth.

When we begin to tip the scales on the importance of respect, relationships, and curiosity we become super accelerators moving toward abundance and harmony.

Imagine that the status-quo begins to realize that everyone can be an original without harming or even undermining each other.

In the next 100-years, more women must have the courage to do the inner work of transformation. This inner work of personal transformation comes with great reward. The only way to be a leader is to have experience leading yourself. It requires women to experience the process of self-actualization. Only when you honestly learn how to lead yourself can you then lead anyone. A new and creative form of inspiration is born from the process of learning how to lead. You are comfortable and confident that you can handle anything.

In the next 100-years, women gain a powerful and precious grip on their sexuality and their sexual relationships. The LGBTQ community will lead the way for all of us in this realm. Women bring more compassion and forgiveness to the world and heal from the violence and tragedies of the past.

In the next 100-years, science will be the number one profession of choice. Then we will bring balance and healing to planet earth. We continue to explore and discover other planets and possibilities for habitation.

The Ghost of Women’s Leadership Present

We must honor and not ignore the Ghost of Women’s Leadership Present. We must learn to be fully present so that the future has a chance.

I invite you to see a brighter future for yourself and for others. I invite you to be inspired by a unique vision of what you see for the next 100-years. May it be full of possibilities and challenges that are meant to be solved only by you. I invite you to a greater understanding of how important you are in the world!

Believe in your version of the Ghost of Women’s Leadership Future!
